These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the MindSignal website, its content, downloadable resources, waitlist, videos, forms, links, and related services.

The website is operated by MindSignal, LLC, a Louisiana limited liability company (“MindSignal,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using this website, joining the waitlist, downloading a resource, submitting information, or interacting with website content, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the website.

1. Age Requirement

The MindSignal website and its content are intended only for adults who are 18 years of age or older.

By using this website, joining the waitlist, downloading a resource, submitting information, or using any related service, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old.

  • You have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.

  • The information you provide is accurate and belongs to you.

MindSignal does not knowingly permit individuals under 18 to use the website or submit personal information.

2. About MindSignal

MindSignal is developing an application intended to support greater awareness, reflection, and understanding around everyday experiences with anxiety.

The MindSignal application is currently in development and is not yet publicly available.

Information presented on the website about the future app, its possible features, timing, availability, design, or functionality is preliminary and may change.

Nothing on the website guarantees that:

  • A particular feature will be included.

  • The app will launch on a particular date.

  • The app will operate in a particular way.

  • Access will be offered to every waitlist member.

  • Any future service will remain free or available.

3. Educational and Informational Purpose

The MindSignal website, videos, ebooks, downloads, articles, reflections, and other content are provided for general educational, informational, and self-reflection purposes only.

The website does not provide:

  • Medical advice

  • Mental-health advice

  • Diagnosis

  • Treatment

  • Therapy

  • Counseling

  • Crisis intervention

  • Medication guidance

  • Individualized professional recommendations

Website content should not be used as a substitute for care from a qualified healthcare or mental-health professional.

The FTC expects health-related claims to be truthful, not misleading, and appropriately supported. For that reason, MindSignal does not promise that its website or future app will diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent anxiety or any other condition. 

4. No Professional Relationship

Using the website, viewing a video, downloading an ebook, joining the waitlist, or communicating with MindSignal does not create a:

  • Doctor-patient relationship

  • Therapist-client relationship

  • Counselor-client relationship

  • Healthcare provider-patient relationship

  • Attorney-client relationship

  • Fiduciary relationship

  • Other professional-care relationship

Communications sent through the website or email are not confidential clinical communications.

5. Emergency and Crisis Situations

MindSignal is not an emergency service or crisis-response service.

Do not use the website, waitlist, contact form, email, or social-media messages to request emergency assistance.

MindSignal does not continuously monitor submissions, and messages may not be reviewed immediately.

If you or another person may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or an appropriate crisis resource.

6. Personal Responsibility

You are responsible for deciding whether website content, videos, exercises, downloads, or resources are appropriate for you.

You agree that:

  • You will use your own judgment.

  • You will stop using any content that causes discomfort or concern.

  • You will seek qualified professional support when appropriate.

7. Waitlist

Joining the MindSignal waitlist expresses interest in receiving information about the project.

Joining the waitlist does not:

  • Guarantee early access.

  • Guarantee access to the app.

  • Reserve a paid or free account.

  • Create a purchase agreement.

  • Guarantee a launch date.

  • Guarantee particular features.

  • Create an investment, ownership, employment, or partnership relationship.

MindSignal may contact waitlist members with development updates, launch information, resources, announcements, or related communications.

You may request removal from the waitlist at any time by contacting us at mindsignalapp@gmail.com.

MindSignal may remove duplicate, invalid, fraudulent, abusive, or incomplete submissions.

8. Ebook and Downloadable Resources

MindSignal may provide free ebooks, guides, worksheets, videos, documents, or other downloadable resources.

Unless otherwise stated, these materials are provided for personal, noncommercial use only.

You may:

  • Download one copy for your personal use.

  • Save a copy on your personal device.

  • Print a copy for your own use.

  • Share the official MindSignal webpage link with others.

You may not:

  • Sell the resource.

  • Republish it as your own.

  • Upload it to another website or platform.

  • Remove copyright, trademark, or attribution notices.

  • Copy substantial portions for commercial use.

  • Alter the resource and distribute the altered version.

  • Use it to create a competing product or service.

  • Include it in a paid course, book, app, newsletter, or membership without written permission.

9. Intellectual Property

The website and its contents are owned by MindSignal, LLC or used with permission.

Protected content may include:

  • The MindSignal name

  • Logos

  • Trademarks

  • Branding

  • Website design

  • Written content

  • Videos

  • Scripts

  • Graphics

  • Images

  • Ebook content

  • Downloads

  • App concepts

  • Product descriptions

  • Original layouts

  • Audio

  • Software-related materials

  • Other creative works

These materials may be protected by copyright, trademark, trade-secret, patent, unfair-competition, and other laws.

No rights are transferred to you except the limited permission to use the website for lawful personal purposes under these Terms.

You may not use the MindSignal name, logo, brand, or content in a way that suggests sponsorship, endorsement, affiliation, or permission without prior written consent.

10. Feedback and Suggestions

You may voluntarily send feedback, comments, ideas, or suggestions regarding the website or MindSignal.

Do not send confidential business information, proprietary concepts, or ideas that you expect MindSignal to keep confidential unless a written confidentiality agreement is already in place.

By voluntarily submitting general feedback, you grant MindSignal permission to consider and use that feedback without payment or obligation to you.

This section does not transfer ownership of personal information submitted through forms. Personal information remains governed by the Privacy Policy.

11. Acceptable Use

You may use the website only for lawful purposes.

You may not:

  • Violate any law or regulation.

  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.

  • Impersonate another person or organization.

  • Use another person’s email address without permission.

By joining the waitlist, requesting a resource, or providing your email address, you may receive communications related to:

  • Waitlist status

  • MindSignal development

  • Administrative matters

You may unsubscribe from promotional communications using the available unsubscribe method or by contacting mindsignalapp@gmail.com.

You are responsible for keeping your email address accurate and for checking spam or filtered-message folders.

14. Third-Party Services

The website may rely on or link to third-party services, including:

  • Google Sheets

  • Google Workspace

The MindSignal app is still being developed.

Where liability cannot legally be excluded, MindSignal’s liability will be limited to the greatest extent permitted by applicable law. Because the current website provides free content and does not sell the app, no monetary recovery is guaranteed merely because a visitor used or relied upon the website. This section does not exclude liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

22. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MindSignal, LLC and its owners, officers, contractors, representatives, and service providers from claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses arising from:

  • Your unlawful use of the website

  • Your violation of these Terms

  • Your infringement of another person’s rights

  • Information you submit

  • Your misuse or unauthorized distribution of MindSignal content

  • Your fraudulent or harmful conduct

MindSignal may assume control of the defense of a matter subject to indemnification, and you agree to cooperate reasonably.

23. Termination or Restriction of Access

MindSignal may restrict or terminate access to the website or its services when we reasonably believe a person has:

  • Violated these Terms

  • Misused the website

  • Engaged in fraud

  • Threatened security

  • Harassed another person

  • Infringed intellectual-property rights

  • Used automated tools improperly

  • Submitted unlawful or abusive content

Termination does not prevent MindSignal from pursuing other lawful remedies.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Louisiana law recognizes that electronic contracts and records may have legal effect and may not be denied enforceability solely because they are electronic. 

25. Location for Disputes

Unless applicable law requires otherwise, any legal action arising from these Terms or the website must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana

You and MindSignal consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

26. Informal Dispute Resolution

Before filing a legal claim, you agree to contact MindSignal and make a good-faith effort to resolve the issue informally.

  • Your contact information

  • A description of the issue

  • The outcome you are requesting

MindSignal will have a reasonable opportunity to review and respond.

27. Changes to These Terms

MindSignal may update these Terms as the website, business, legal requirements, or future app changes.

The revised Terms will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date.

Your continued use of the website after revised Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms, subject to applicable law.

For major changes, MindSignal may provide additional notice when reasonably appropriate.

28. Severability

If any portion of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

The invalid provision will be interpreted or modified as closely as legally permitted to reflect its original purpose.

29. No Waiver

MindSignal’s failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not waive the right to enforce it later.

A waiver is effective only when made in writing by an authorized representative of MindSignal.

30. Entire Agreement

These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the complete agreement between you and MindSignal regarding use of the current website.

They replace prior discussions or statements concerning website use, unless another written agreement expressly applies.
